Sea-weather scoringPRO

Know if it's a go, before you tell the client.

Every session on your activities shows a verdict, a 0-100 score, and the full condition breakdown: wind, waves, water temperature and more. Sea-and-weather analysis from Goable, built into Sealect PRO.

The problem

Generic weather isn't enough.

A weather app tells you if it's going to rain. It doesn't tell you whether today's 3pm lesson can actually run, with that boat, at that spot, in those waves. Those are two different questions, and the second one is the one you have to answer every day.

What you actually see

Not a random number. The reasoning behind it.

For every session, before you even open it to bookings.

Example
  • Good to goWith careBetter not

    The verdict

Yes, no, or with caution: a clear answer for that specific combination of activity, spot and time, not a generic forecast.

  • 78/ 100

    The score, 0 to 100

How suited the conditions are, on a single scale. Comparable across sessions, across days, across your different activities.

  • Wind
    Waves
    Water

    The per-parameter breakdown

Wind, wave height and period, water temperature, visibility, tidal current: each parameter has its own suitability, so you see exactly what's driving the verdict.

Two ways to read the conditions

The verdict when you ask. The alert when it matters.

PRO

The conditions when you ask

Open a session and see the verdict: a score, the breakdown per parameter, the forecast confidence. That's what you just saw above.

Enterprise

The conditions that come find you

Sealect checks every booked session, every hour. If one drops below threshold, you get an alert with a list of better slots. The system flags and suggests: the confirmation is always yours, with one tap.

How it works

Three steps, then it's automatic.

01

Link the activity

Tell Sealect which sport it is (surf, scuba, kitesurf, sailing) and Goable knows which parameters matter for it.

02

Set the meeting point

Your spot's coordinates, once. It's the exact point conditions are calculated for, not a general area.

03

Every session shows its conditions

Verdict, score and breakdown update automatically as the date gets closer, session by session.

Where the data comes from

The engine is Goable.

Goable aggregates several independent sea-weather sources and weighs them against a profile built for each water sport: the wind that matters for kitesurfing isn't the wind that matters for a dive. Sealect adds the context: your activity, your spot, your session.

What we don't send

Just coordinates, time window, activity. Full stop.

To calculate the score, Sealect sends Goable only the spot's coordinates, the session's time window, and the activity type. No customer or participant data ever leaves Sealect.

What we send
  • The spot's coordinates
  • The session's time window
  • The activity type
What we never send
  • Customer name and contact details
  • Number of participants
  • Payment data
The limits, stated plainly

What the score doesn't do.

01

A check that couldn't run is not a check that passed.

If data is missing or a source doesn't respond, it's shown as exactly that: distinct, never mistaken for a check that came back clean.

02

The further out, the less reliable.

A 5-day forecast doesn't carry the same certainty as a 12-hour one. Every forecast is marked with how far out it is.

03

It supports the decision. It doesn't make it.

No automatic cancellations, no safety guarantee. The score gives you better data to decide with. The decision, and the responsibility, stay with you.
